BROOKSVILLE - Delores "Dee" Kern, 65, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

She was born June 30, 1945, to the late Arnold Fay Conway and Verla Mae Day Riggs.

She was a member of Eagles Lodge where she was teh past president and secretar; she was also a member of Triumph Christian Church.

Deloris was the wife of Joe Kern of Maysville, whom she married Jan. 2, 1973.

"Dee" is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Gary) Duncan of Cynthiana; her son, Mark (Jessica) Kern of Augusta; three grandchildren, Logan Duncan, Hannah Duncan and Myles Kern; two, Lucy Kabler and Irene Boone, both of Maysville; one brother, Phillip Conway of Lewis County; and a brother-in-law, Bill Boling of Maysville.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Boling.

Services are 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery in Maysville.

Visitation will be 6-9p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to a charity of choice.
